The
Biennial foresees the presentation of the Project for the Creation of
the First Contemporary Polar Museum of Art, Technology and Environment
of the End of the World in Ushuaia City, and Special Projects coordinated
by the Argentine Curatorship. Among them:
1- Course of action for the refreshing of Ushuaia
City.
a) Project directed by Architect Clorindo
Testa aiming at coloring the main public and private buildings of the
City.
b) Project led by Engineer Carlos Thays:
a new possible reforesting of the City.
Asociación Artistas Visuales de la República Argentina - AAVRA Placing, along the Ushuaia Bay, flags performed by artists from all over the country, inspired in the whipala, native peoples’ flag, portraying symbols related to the endangered fauna, flora, minerals and elements of Patagonian origin. A proposal for reflection upon the preservation of the natural resources with the attendance of specialists at the Debate Forums.
